A parent’s birthing story contains the most intimate moments of their lives. It’s the first chapter of a very long novel full of laughs, tears and A LOT of sleepless nights. When Casey allowed me to film her story, I didn’t take it lightly– because the moments that lead to the arrival of your child are the most vulnerable a parent will ever feel. Because Casey and I are both first time mother’s, we had a great time taking about our children. It was so good that we separated the interview into chapters. This is Casey’s Story, Part I.

I love stories like this. I still tear up when I hear pregnancy or labor stories. It was the happiest day of my life and my biggest accomplishment 🙂
Thank you for sharing your comment Zarinah. Child birth was a pain I could never have imagined, but the result was beautiful. It gave me a new appreciation for women and my body. And, like you, it was my greatest accomplishment. Now I just have to make sure that the boy doesn’t grow up and embarrass me 😉
